The vendor-neutral operating substrate that runs an MSP's whole practice.
Run every surface of your MSP on one accountable chain of record.
ClearStax is the MSP 3.0 operating platform — clients, service desk, IT operations, security & compliance, growth, business, and an AI agent workforce running on one system. See the true cost and margin of every client and service, put agents to work under a trust ladder you govern, and back every record with a source, owner, and timestamp, linked to the work that produced it.

How a single workflow traverses the chain.
An illustrative example: a deal — DEAL-04421, the fictional Mid-Atlantic Managed — moves from Clients into the Service Desk, emits an evidence artifact, and lands in a client report. One operator dashboard. One chain of record.

Seven operating surfaces — one chain of record
The whole practice, on one operating substrate.
ClearStax runs the operator-facing surfaces of an MSP as one accountable system. The chain of record threads through every surface — capability to provider to evidence to risk to report — so nothing falls between tools, and every claim resolves to its source.
Clients
Contacts, companies, deals, proposals, renewals, and onboarding records — the relationship layer that opens the chain and links every downstream ticket and report back to the agreement that authorized it.
- Deals, contacts, companies, ICP scoring
- Proposals, renewals, and contract chain-of-record
- Onboarding records linked to delivery + evidence
- Every client tied to its true cost and margin
Service Desk
Tickets and ownership that share state with the rest of the practice — operational work linked to the deal and the evidence it produces, without the handoff tax between the tools you already pay for. SLAs, escalation, and assets are part of the model, rolling out next.
- Tickets with owner and status, linked to deals and evidence
- SLAs and escalation routing (rolling out)
- Contracts, assets, and time on the same model (rolling out)
- Ingests from the RMM you already use (rolling out)
IT Operations
Coordinates work from the RMM, identity, and backup tools you already run, and routes it to the service desk with context — rolling out. ClearStax coordinates the work; it never replaces the tooling underneath.
- Coordinates across your RMM, identity, and backup tools (rolling out)
- Work routed to the service desk with full context
- Asset and endpoint inventory drawn from your stack (rolling out)
- Cost of delivery surfaced per client and service
Security & Compliance
Security signals and control evidence carrying a source, owner, and timestamp on every artifact, linked back to the work that produced it. One supporting capability of the platform — auditor-ready and client-ready from the same model, not the wedge you have to buy first.
- Controls, remediation, and reviewer workflow
- Managed endpoint detection & response signals, ingested
- Evidence export, retention, and forward-linked chain of record
- Client-ready proof from the same evidence model
Growth
Trust-led pipeline. Assessments, prospecting signals, and proposals backed by the same evidence model your reviewer sees. Outbound that earns its meeting, attached to the chain from the first touch.
- Assessments and prospecting signals in the chain
- Scan artifacts auto-attach to deals
- Proposals backed by evidence, not slideware
- White-label client-handoff reports
Agent Workforce
A first-class operator, not a chatbot. Agents observe across every surface and surface proposals under a trust ladder you govern per tenant — starting in Shadow and earning the right to act. You watch their health, their proposals, and their provenance in the same chain everything else runs on.
- Per-tenant trust-phase governance (the trust ladder)
- Agent-health and workload visibility
- Every proposal linked to its source, owner, and timestamp
- Operators inspect, approve, or reject
Business
The operator's own numbers — cost and margin per client and per service, modeled from your cost components and accounting sync, and moving toward discovery from live telemetry. Price, scope, and renew on evidence instead of guesswork.
- Cost & margin modeling per client and per service
- Cost inputs from your components and accounting sync
- Renewal and profitability signals in one place
- Moving toward cost discovery from live telemetry
How it works
Capability → provider → evidence → risk → report.
One operating sequence runs through every surface. The chain of record threads each step — same model, same evidence chain, whether the next reader is your operator, your reviewer, or your client.
Client
A deal enters as DEAL-04421 — from an assessment, a sequence, a referral, or inbound. Source, owner, and intake timestamp recorded at the boundary, with modeled margin attached.
Ticket
The closed deal becomes onboarding tickets CS-1042 in the service desk. Tickets carry SLA, owner, and asset references — work is operational, not theoretical.
Evidence
Completed work emits an evidence artifact EVD-04-014 — capability mapping, source, owner, and timestamp, linked back to the closed ticket. Reviewer-grade and client-grade from one model.
Report
The client report RPT-MAM-04 is assembled from the chain — PDF, API, or white-labeled portal. The reviewer sees the same artifacts the client sees.
Agent Workforce — a first-class operator ★
An AI workforce you govern, not a chatbot bolted on.
ClearStax agents work across every surface — clients, service desk, IT operations, security, reporting, and growth — under the same chain of record everything else runs on. A per-tenant trust ladder governs what each agent may do on its own: they start in Shadow, observing and surfacing proposals for operator review, and earn the right to act as you raise their trust phase. You watch agent health and workload, and every proposal emits a source, an owner, and a timestamp, linked back to the work that produced it. Inspectable by design.
Security Director
Triages signals from your managed detection and monitoring tools. Routes to the ticket queue with severity and asset context.
Compliance Director
Maps work to controls. Surfaces gap remediations. Queues reviewers when evidence requires dual sign-off.
Operations Director
Watches the service desk: SLA breaches, ticket pile-ups, idle work, contract drift. Suggests reroutes; never auto-applies.
Report Director
Assembles client and reviewer reports from the chain. Re-checks the provenance links, surfacing missing evidence before issuance.
Delivery Director
Tracks client onboarding and tool-deployment progress. Proposes the next delivery step and keeps configuration work linked to the chain of record.
actor: agent.<name> in the chain of record — same provenance model as a human operator. Operators inspect, approve, or reject before anything commits. There are no silent agent decisions.

Scope — what ClearStax does, and what it doesn't
Above the tool stack, not in place of it.
ClearStax consolidates the operator-facing systems where you already pay multiple vendors. It stays vendor-neutral about the security and infrastructure tools that need to keep running their own jobs — it coordinates across them, it doesn't compete with them.
Replaces / consolidates
If you currently run separate point tools for these, ClearStax becomes the single system of record.
- CRM / sales pipeline
- Virtual CISO & governance, risk, and compliance workflows
- Compliance reporting and evidence collection
- Client portal & QBR tooling
- Service-desk workflows (tickets, ownership; SLAs, contracts, assets rolling out)
- Outbound prospecting & assessment tooling
- Reporting, dashboards, and status pages
Sits above — does NOT replace
ClearStax ingests from these and coordinates work across them. Keep the tools you already run; we stay vendor-neutral.
- Remote monitoring & management (RMM)
- Managed endpoint & managed detection and response
- SIEM / log management
- Backup & disaster recovery
- Productivity & collaboration suites
- Network & firewall platforms
- Identity & access management

Why ClearStax
Built for operators, not for slideware.
Six things that are different about how ClearStax runs an MSP — each one is a deliberate product decision, not a marketing claim.
Cost & margin you can see margin
See the cost and margin of every client and every service — modeled from your cost components and accounting sync today, and moving toward discovery from the telemetry already flowing through the platform. Price, scope, and renew on evidence — not on a spreadsheet guess.
A governed agent workforce trust
The AI workforce is a first-class operator with a per-tenant trust ladder you control, agent-health visibility, and full provenance. No silent agent decisions, no black-box automation.
One chain of record chain
Every surface and every agent action emits to the same chain — actor, source, owner, and timestamp. No silos, no parallel ledgers, no "did the right system catch that?"
Vendor-neutral by design scope
ClearStax sits above the RMM, endpoint detection, monitoring, and backup tools you already run. It ingests from them and coordinates work; it doesn't replace them or pick winners.
Tenant-isolated by default isolation
Multi-tenant by construction — every tenant's data is isolated at the data layer. White-label tenants get real separation, not just a UI theme.
White-label without rewrite brand
Per-tenant theming gives each client portal its own logo, accent, domain, and sender identity — configured, not custom-built, so there is no support burden.
See the operating model.
15 minutes with the platform. No pitch deck — we open the dashboard, walk through the chain of record on a live tenant, and you decide what's next.
